This course is targeted at aspiring and current managers who want to reinforce their managerial competences and develop a stronger focus in marketing.
It is designed to provide you with the theories, tools and techniques to support the practical management of a business whilst developing an immediately applicable skill set in contemporary approaches to marketing both by traditional and digital means.
All the modules are rooted firmly in professional practice and are designed to provide you with the ability to apply your managerial and marketing skills in a variety of sectors.
You will gain an understanding of the forces at play in the business environment, the impact of organisational strategy on the marketing process and the cause and effect of successful marketing decision making.

STAGE 1
You will develop an understanding of how and why business operates and extend your knowledge of the basic elements and techniques of change and resilience. You will focus on an organisation’s marketing strategy, whilst reinforcing your professional and transferable skills through interpersonal communication and teamwork.
STAGE 2
You will critically review and manipulate a range of analytical tools to support strategic decision-making. You will learn to use tools and techniques associated with managing the finances of an organisation and further your expertise in marketing via a focus on digital marketing and on the marketing of innovation.
STAGE 3
The Capstone module is designed to provide you with an opportunity to integrate master's level knowledge and skills by independently working on an applied academic study or business consultancy project from a degree related discipline. Personal and professional skills such as research, oral presentation and teamwork will be developed.

Applied learning
CAPSTONE
You are encouraged to apply for live Capstone consultancy projects which are sourced locally and are advertised through our Professional Enrichment hub. You are also able to negotiate and source your own consultancy host organisation in discussion with the Professional Enrichment Hub.
Careers / Further study
This course is for new graduates or experienced professionals who wish to have a career in business. You may be from a non-relevant (i.e. non business) academic or professional background. It is also for those already working in business, at a junior or middle manager level, and seeking to progress their career with reinforced skills in modern approaches to marketing. If you are looking to enter this field and have no relevant formal qualifications, this course will allow you to gain the necessary expertise.

If English is not your first language you will need to be able to show you have the required level of English language.
The course requirements with IELTS or BACIET overall score of 6.5 with a minimum of 5.5 or higher in each component (reading, writing, listening and speaking).
