Study a vibrant industry encompassing conferences and exhibitions, cultural and sporting events, festivals and personal events and learn how to plan, manage and evaluate them.
 

  • • Understand how strategic decisions involve multiple business areas at once.
  • • Solve complex problems through innovative, analytical and critical thinking.

The focus of the course is on the strategic role events play in modern society, and how they contribute to organisational and community objectives. Recent developments in event strategy are at the core of the course, based on the research of our 25-strong academic research team. You learn to understand how strategic decisions involve multiple business areas at once and how to solve complex problems through innovative, analytical and critical thinking.

 

All our courses are designed around a set of key principles based on engaging you with the world, collaborating with others, challenging you to think in new ways, and providing you with a supportive environment in which you can thrive.

Sheffield Hallam is one of the top providers of events courses in the UK. As a founder member of the Association of Event Management Educators (AEME), we are involved in establishing academic benchmarks in events education. This course has an innovative format based on a new learning and assessment strategy that puts you at its centre.

Semester 3 : Jan 2024 @ SHU
  • • Dissertation
**Please Note : some modules may be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.

**Background or part-time work in the sector that would be preferred.
Otherwise – you would need to join an extended induction.

Tuition Fees

• 1st Installment 150,000 THB
• 2nd Installment 200,000 THB
• 3rd Installment 245,000 THB
  Total 595,000 THB

*International students (Non-Thai students) will be added THB 25,000

** A student will need a minimum of £1,023 per month to cover basic living expenses.
** International students are allowed to work up to 20 hours a week during term time and full-time working during vacations.

English Language Requirements
If English is not your first language you will need to be able to show you have the required level of English language. 
The course requirements with IELTS or BACIET overall score of 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 or higher in each component (reading, writing, listening and speaking).
